Bollywood Grill is a story of passion, perseverance, and a deep love for Indian cuisine. It all started in 1986 when two brothers dreamed of bringing the authentic flavors of their homeland to the United States. With this vision, they opened House of India in Worcester in 1991, quickly earning a reputation for warm hospitality and delicious food. The overwhelming response inspired them to open another location in Pittsfield in 1994.

Driven by their desire to share India’s culinary heritage, they launched Bawarchi in Boston in 1996, followed by Chef of India in Shrewsbury in 1997. Each new venture brought them closer to their goal of creating an experience that celebrated not only Indian flavors but also the country’s vibrant culture.

In 2001, that dream came to life with Bollywood Grill in North Andover — a unique dining destination that captures the spirit of Bollywood. From the décor inspired by the glitz of Indian cinema to the carefully crafted menu, every detail was designed to transport guests on a cultural and culinary journey.

Encouraged by the love and support of the community, the brothers expanded Bollywood Grill to Shrewsbury in 2005 and Cumberland soon after. Today, it stands as a symbol of their dedication to authentic cuisine and memorable experiences.
